Job Summary
Helpers assist Van Foreman in the packing, prepping and loading, transportation and delivery of our customers household goods in use.
Responsibilities
- Travel to each location and ensure all boxes are properly packed, and all furniture is ready to move safely
- Load everything into the truck or vehicle with the team, taking care to make sure everything is well organized and the load is properly distributed
- Secure all boxes, furniture, and equipment before moving
- Unload all boxes, furniture, and equipment, placing them in the designated rooms as noted by the owners
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Can comfortably work in all weather conditions
- Can lift and move heavy objects
- Can work on your feet for much of the day
Compensation: $14.00 per hour

In fact, we have several second and third generation drivers from the same family, as well as an owner who has two sons in the business. Our husband and wife team in our Indiana office, and his brother run the Johnstown office.
